Hello and good luck to all bidders, here I have my 1995 1/2 lotus esprit s4 in excellent condition runs and drives strong the clutch is strong and clutch placement is spot on, The only thing the car can use is some touch up paint on the front bumper and a tuneup and some fuses The car runs better after being warmed up
From 1993 to 1995 they only made 625 of these cars, this lotus has the original 2.2 liter single turbo charged 4 cylinder 910 series engine in it and Producing 270 hp and 280 Pounds feet of torque with the original factory Garrett turbo charger and factory 5spd transmission, This esprit s4 weights 2700 pounds and with 270 hp and 280 pounds feet of torque with that power to weight ratio Lotus was able to propel The esprit s4 to 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds and With a quarter-mile time of 13.1, which made it a tad bit faster then the Ferrari F355 berrlinetta Which was an amazing feat for lotus.
now this particular S4 is a tad bit rare due to the factory brembo brake option that is has, and only was offered in 1995 , year two of production in 1995 only 46 lotus esprit s4’s we’re made A quarter of those 46 cars came with brembo brakes, This Lotus is one of those 11 cars that has the factory Brembo brake option, lotus enthusiasts refer to these esprit s4’s with the brembo brakes as the 1995 1/2 Because the brembo break option was not available until the end of 1995.
What we have here ladies and gentlemen is an amazingly good looking car that turns heads with wicked fast performance specs for its time and and a huge fan following Plus with such low production numbers, we are looking at the next 90s super car to take on the inflation wave as Porsh Ferrari and Lamborghini has in the past, I bet my money the prices on these esprit’s will rise in the future, the only reason why am selling the car is because I recently got married and need to get rid of all my toys.
