Vehicle description
Correct VIN is SALLDHAF8MA951448 as doesn"t recognize import VINs.
Offered here is a 1995 Land Rover Defender 3 Door 110 with a 300 TDI motor.
Truck has been sanded down and sprayed in Alpine white. Exterior is straight and clean. New LED brake lights and signals. Frame is solid throughout. No rust or rot anywhere. Foot wells replaced, doors are complete and solid.
Motor runs very nicely and transmission shifts smoothly as it sound. No funny sounds or clunks. Motor is strong.
When we got the truck, there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed which are listed below.
New plastic grill New head lights New headlight panels New hood cable Replaced the rear door Bed lined the entire cargo area New air filter mounts New left front stub axle seal Replaced rear suspension arm joint Replaced both drive shafts New tie rod ends New rear brakes New rear exhaust New radiator New timing belt and cover New brake vacuum pump New rear bench seating New rear main seal and oil pan New New output seal for steering box New floor mats
Over $20K in work completed to the truck as seen above.
The interior is "ok" but very manageable. The headliner is only over the driver and passenger seats and could use a good clean. The rear is fine as is or could use a paint or finished with new head liner. Rear windows are complete and slide back and forth as they should. They rattle some when going over bumps while driving. The fabric on the front seats doesn"t match so I just got black seat covers that do the trick.
Truck is a used Defender that we have done alot of work to. It is perfectly fine as is or some additional cosmetics in the interior would work either way. The point is that the truck is sound both mechanically and structurally speaking which are the most important aspects of these trucks. This one would be a great around town rig or one to put your mountain bikes in the back and hit the trail.
I have imported, rebuilt and sold over 350 of these in the last five years and know my way around them. I have a bunch more photos for serious buyers. Thanks and good luck!
