This is a limited production car, they were only offered in 1994 and 1995. The very desirable 6 Cylinder 4.0 engine. Mechanically perfect, everything works as it should, tires are 80%, the pristine top works perfectly, new Leather on the front seats, an all around cream puff. Owned by a Certified Jaguar Mechanic for the past few years this car needs nothing.
Please, if you want an "average" XJS - this is NOT it! Look at Hagarty values, the range is $12,000 to $21,000. I know of a car not nearly as good in condition as this one that sold for $16,950. The mileage on this one brings it down from being in the top 5% of value but the value is still up there. If you know the value of this car and want one, be ready to buy, you"ll be very glad to own it.
