Vehicle description
1995 Ford Crown Victoria sedan. 4 door with a/c and heat power windows although the front passenger side window does not work. Had two spotlights but I took one off (the driver"s side). Has all four original Goodyear Eagle tires that are in adequate condition. The front bench seat does not move forward or back ward but the reclining portion does although it"s not electric but manual. It runs really good and is fast and powerful. No engine problems although the blower for the a/c and heater has started to squeak for a few minutes after beginning operation. All white exterior. Paint job is adequate and was painted over school district decals. It was purchased with the school district police car fleet in 1995 but never used for patrol but instead as a supervisor car hence the low mileage. The crown vic acutally has 120,000 miles not 140,000 as previously stated. These in my opinion are actual original miles based largely on the fact that I am familiar with the life history of the car (I was around it since it was purchased in 1995 and saw it everyday and then purchased it in 2015). On Feb-17-17 at 13:32:40 PST, seller added the following information: The Crown Vic has current registration in the state of Texas until the last day of this month and is currently insured. It has a one year old battery purchased from Wal-Mart that cost $89.95 and a one year old alternator that cost over $200.00 to have put in (the alternator came from Auto-Zone or O"Riely"s. The AM/FM radio doesn"t achieve full volume for about 10 minutes after start. This may be due to some connection problem having to due to the police radio that was in there. I don"t drive the car but once a week so haven"t looked into it. One of the windshield wiper arms is bent and doesn"t fully recede into the seat. A pair of vice grips should remedy the problem. The car pulls to the driver side when on the road slightly. Alignment? Tread wear? Tie rod bushing? I"ve found that when the front tires are properly inflated to recommended psi the problem is reduced. There is no carpet inside the car. It was an unmarked police car. I would have no problem or worries driving this car as is on a distance trip (after pre-trip checkups of hoses and belt). It is a very solid car.
