Vehicle description
1995 Chevrolet Camaro. Condition is "Used".
1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 350 V8 LT1, 4L60e 4spd automatic transmission, Hard-top This was my first new car buy, but it’s time to let it go to someone who will get more enjoyment out of it. I haven’t driven it much since 2002 time frame (when I got married!), and it has been garaged since. I am the original owner, bought when I graduated college, have original sticker. Nearly all miles were put on in Phoenix, AZ from 1997 thru 2002. It moved inside a moving trailer to WI in 2013 when I moved here. It has never seen a WI winter. This exact configuration with cam, exhaust, etc. passed AZ emissions back in mid 2000"s. My car has nearly all the traditional bolt-on mods possible, with the exception of a power-adder like nitrous or supercharger. The HOT cam is street legal, and has a great sounding lope to it. I am happy to take any photo requests or videos and share, just message me. Suspension: Eibach lowering springs all around Bilstein shocks (from SLP) BMR rear panhard BMR strut tower brace BMR rear lower control arms Inflatable airbag in right rear spring.
Drivetrain: OEM 4L60E transmission with stock torque converter 1LE driveshaft 3.42 rear differential on a 3-series carrier (standard for automatics is 2.73 on 2-series). This gives more low-end torque feel. Wheels/Tires: Camaro SS Chrome Wheels, front 17x9”, rear 17x11” (WIDE! ) Wheels/Tires: Front: BF Goodrich Comp TA 275z17; Rear; Yokohama 315-35z17 (wide! )
Engine: K&N Cold Air Intake GMPP LT4 HOT Cam (nice lope, street legal) GMPP 1.6 roller rockers & springs Aftermarket plugs & wires (don’t recall makers but I always used high quality). MSD coil Meziere electric water pump (capable of pumping coolant while engine is off). 52mm throttle body Ported MAF Exhaust – Arizona Speed & Marine 1.75” ceramic coated headers Exhaust – Borla 3” adjustable cat-back, with bolt-in/out off-road pipe
Other: Catz high power fog lights, installed in OEM location, operating on OEM switch. B&M transmission temperature gauge installed below radio. LT1 Scanmaster tool/screen installed in right hand dashboard vent. Real-time engine diagnostics display for 23 different engine measures (rpm, knock sensor, oxygen level, coolant temp, etc.). Also stores max knock and O2 levels for any WOT runs, etc. Viper 600hf alarm with one aftermarket remote. Pioneer aftermarket speakers.
Original Options packages Z28 PEG2 - AC, Cruise, Trunk Release, Foglights, Power locks, Power windowws, Power mirrors, Power driver’s seat, leather steering wheel, etc. Automatic transmission Six-way power drivers seat. Rear Defroster
Included Parts: Hypertech Power Programmer ( This is a multi-functional tool. It changes rev limiter, speedometer for gears and tire sizes, cooling efficiency, firms shifts on automatic cars, removes speed limiters, changes air/fuel mixture for increased power, and several other items). Including it as you need it for speedo corresting the 3.42 gears and tire sizing. Original ring/pinion + 2 carriers for rear end, 2.73 gearing. Original MAF housing/screen Off-road pipe for swapping out catalytic converter (off-road use only) Rear trunk struts, brand new in box.
Known problems (sharing to save you and I both time!) Power windows both need replacing, they are both up right now. Known common issue is the mechanisms overheat easily and stop going up. There are several youtube videos on how to replace without having to tear the door apart. Headliner fabric is sagging. Sun visors have elastic straps that are sagging. Aftermarket radio installed with broken removable face plate, so will likely need replaced. Works, but you have to hold it in place. Rear trunk struts are shot and need replaced. I have replacements, you can youtube how to replace. Slight oil leak at front of oil pan where it meets timing chain cover. Hasn"t been big enough problem for me to replace gasket.
Other Notes: I am the original owner, bought new from the dealer in upstate New York. The car starts and runs. Clean title in my name. 90 minutes northwest of Milwaukee in 54956 zip code. $500 deposit required within 24 hours. Full payment due within 7 days, cash only. Buyer pays all shipping and handling. Shipping and handling is not included. Buyer is responsible for pickup. Please determine shipping or pickup prior to bidding.
