Vehicle description
1995 BMW 318ti hatchback 5-speed manual Boston Green Metallic 215.2k miles VIN: WBACG5320SAM51832 Clean Ohio Title
Features: Boston Green Metallic exterior, Charcoal Grey Cloth interior. Active package (leather steering wheel, shift knob, e-brake handle, on-board trip computer, sunroof). Air conditioning. Short shift (Z3 1.9L shifter). Turner Conforti performance chip. Sport seats (from a 1995 318ti Club Sport). Aftermarket Sony head unit. M3 side mirrors in matching Boston Green color. Rear spoiler in matching Boston Green color. Water pump, serpentine belt, tensioner, thermostat replaced at 178k miles. Clutch, single-mass flywheel, and shift bushings replaced at 179k miles. Front brake pads and rotors replaced at 188k miles. Rebuilt intake at 188k miles (intake boot, intake gaskets, ICV hose, vacuum hose). Front suspension refreshed at 190k miles (shocks, control arm bushings, sway bar links and bushings). Valve cover gasket replaced at 200k miles. Windshield replaced at 203k miles. Battery replaced in May 2020 (DieHard Gold battery). Last oil change in January 2021 at 214k miles (Liqui Moly oil, Mahle oil filter, Mahle air filter).
The good: I had the car for almost 3 years, it has been regularly driven and it never let me stranded. I have extensive maintenance records dating back to 2005. The car has never been in any accidents, never been tracked or autocrossed. Mechanically, the car is in great condition. The interior is in good condition but the exterior is in fair condition. However, those blemishes disappear behind the wheel and the car is awesome to drive. It is tight, peppy and makes a nice sound when you get on the gas. Behind the wheel, you would not know the mileage. The short shifter suits the car perfectly and the car is easy to rev-match. It"s just plain fun - especially around town.
Interior (8/10): Sport seats (from a 1995 318ti Club Sport) are in good condition. The windshield has been replaced about 12k miles ago, and has no cracks or dings. The headliner is sagging in the back. The A-Pillars are wrapped in black vinyl cloth, they look pretty good but the passenger side trim doesn"t like to stay up all the way. It will stay there for a few weeks using double-sided tape, but then it will sag back down. One blank switch cover fell down in the center console.
Exterior (6/10): Clear coat peeling away. Couple of stone chips and door dings. M3 side mirrors in matching Boston Green color. Rear spoiler in matching Boston Green color.
Not-so-good: Rust spot on the passenger rear wheel well area. Front speakers need to be replaced. One cracked CV boot, complete new CV axle included with purchase. Windshield wiper pump isn’t working, replacement included with purchase.
Extra parts included with purchase: CV axle (brand new). Windshield wiper pump. Spark plugs (due at 220k). Windshield wipers (front and back). Original chip (car running a Conforti chip). Various fluids and miscellaneous small parts (gaskets, touch up paint, trim clips, etc.).
Cash only for payment. Car will have to be picked up in Loveland OH by the buyer. Please contact me for more information or additional pictures. Thanks!
