We are very excited to offer yet another Defender with the legendary 300tdi engine and R380 gearbox. Finished in rare Land Rover Montpellier Red all over. Its a stunning and unique color for a Defender and suits its very well. No other 4x4 vehicle has the pedigree and track record like a Land Rover, a Rover of the Land. Not only was it one of the first, it remains the world"s benchmark off-road vehicle, exhilarating to drive, highly reliable, and simplicity to maintain. This D90 features the desirable 300TDI engine matted to a R380 5-speed manual transmission. With improved longevity and overall performance this has made this a highly desirable engine over the years, making this a great vehicle for off road adventures or to enjoy daily. It provides high performance on-road with the capability to tackle the worst off-road conditions, in nearly every driving environment the world can offer. It has gone on to prove itself as one of Land Rovers most reliable and trustworthy engines ever produced.
It really is a joy to drive and handles as good as it looks, it holds straight and steady on the road. It comes installed with an updated intercooler and tuned fuel pump for some more HP gains and seat of your pants thrills and speed (80-90mph). With the tuned fuel pump and boost pin it is a very high performance Defender and is a lot quicker than it looks. It pulls like a train! The overall paint and body work is in good condition from the obligatory social distance view point. Its unrestored so expect usual age related marks and blemishes with the nature of it being a 25yr old vehicle. Inside it has a recent reupholstered interior with new seats and center cubby box, fully carpeted through out and with a new headliner. There is the added luxury of a sound system with AUX/Radio/CD player. The rear cargo area is fully checqured plated and has rear bench seats fitted. It has the added upgrades of clear LED lights all round. It sits on 16” Land Rover Modular steel wheel wrapped with Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires for a comfortable and smooth ride. At the front there is the added protection of an external roll cage, just in case you end up having too much fun on the trails. All lights, heater, wipers, radio and gauges work, as they should. This Defender is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. Out on the road, it is no surprise that it drives 100% with no unusual knocks, bangs or whines. The chassis, bulkhead and door frames are in good condition and a new rear cross member has been installed previously. The undercarriage has been fully waxolied underneath for extra protection against the elements. All and all it’s a Defender 90 in good condition with lots of additions and extras completed to bring the vehicle to a very high performance off-road spec.
