Vehicle description
Very Rare, Hard to Find, GMC Yukon 6.5L Turbo DIESEL for sale. Runs great. Many new parts including transmission, hydro boost pump, fuel relay, AC and more. 4 wheel drive, Tires, brakes, floorboards and undercarriage are in good shape. (All maintenance records included) I"m the second owner.
The engine runs strong and has plenty of life left in it. Miles are not a concern to me. I"ve put on close to 100k over past ten years of ownership. Was purchased with about 150-170ooo miles. Exact number with records. No smoke in exhaust, except sometimes if it hasn"t been started in awhile. Then it flushes out and doesn"t return. Starts every time and wants to be driven.
I t does need some minor repairs: 1) Minor surface rust on hood and roof and inside passenger floorboard, no pits or holes. Metal is solid, rust is superficial, just needs paint.
2) The rear hatch window frame was bent by the pressure when glass was accidentally broken. The new glass was put on before realizing the frame was bent. As a result, there is a minor leak in the right, rear, cargo area. New frame, $200. Safelight will remove/reinstall glass for minimal charge. 3) AC air intake was designed/placed next to rain drain hole under right wiper blade. The intake box is low/short. When too much rain flows, the drainage isn"t fast enough (not clogged) and water will sometimes overflow/drip in the intake and down into front passenger area. This is why carpet is removed. I have not figured out the proper fitting to cover intake and block water. Odd Angle. Should be easy fix. It needs a custom made covering or DIY hack.
Everything else runs and works great. YOU will get lots of attention and questions from onlookers, Especially when you go for the diesel at the pump. People freak out! NO, Stop, that"s diesel! Hate to sell, but the time is right. I"ve really enjoyed owning this Yukon. And s omeone else, who truly appreciates what this truck is, will have a great time giving her the TLC she deserves, to keep on running for many more miles and to finally look good with a fresh coat of paint!
