Vehicle description
This 1993 Subaru Sambar 4WD is a four-wheel-drive kei truck that was acquired by the seller from Japan and imported to the US in October of 2020. This truck comes with a PA title and is street legal in PA because it has been grandfathered in. Future imports will be issued off road titles. Finished in white over a gray interior, this rust free example is powered by a 660ci inline-three cylinder, paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and Push Button 4WD.
This Sambar is offered with all proper importation documents and a clean PA title.
The cab and bed are finished in White and only have a few minor blemishes, including a dent in the front cab that can be seen in the pictures. The latter features bottom-hinged side panels that can be dropped for loading and unloading. The factory Sambar package added a cargo bed light and rear mounted engine.
Metric instrumentation includes a 140-km/h speedometer housing a five-digit odometer that reads approximately 26k kilometres.
The 660ci triple is located under an access panel in the bed, and is said to have been serviced in Japan with a coolant flush and oil change. The Sambar runs well and cruises smoothly down the road. Even on cold starts the engine idles beautifully.
