“Vehicle was prepared to a very high standard for racing in the first season of the SCCA's Pro Spec Miata series in 2005. It also raced in 2006 in selected SCCA regional events and 1.5 hour mini-enduros and was a regular top finisher. Starting with a solid original owner miata, the entire drivetrain was replaced with with a professional prepared crate motor from Mazda, crate transmision and Mazda competion diff. Spec Miata suspension and all new bushings, upgraded wheel bearings, racing clutch, etc. Vehicle stored indoors with periodic oil changes and running up to temperature. Would make a great starting point for regional or vintage racing at a far lower cost than starting with a donor car. Dent in driver's door from last race but door works fine. Minor scrapes and scratches, no major damage ever.” |
