Beautiful 1993 GMC Jimmy SLT needs a new home! Extremely low miles (81,248). Runs and rides like a dream! Essentially one owner, meticulously maintained, and garaged its entire life. My grandfather bought this SUV brand new in 1993 and I took it over two years ago with 69K miles on the odometer. This is the SLT package with every bell and whistle available at that time. The leather seats are in excellent shape. It has been my daily driver.
Since I"ve had the car, I have done all the necessary maintenance. Both the heater and the air conditioner work great. The windshield is clear and without cracks (has two minor rock chips that have been repaired). Includes roof rack and tow package with working 4 wire flat trailer connector. It is ready to go for its next 50K miles, it"s even been waxed and detailed!
I"ve done a lot of work on this SUV because I planned to keep it forever. Unfortunately, I need a little smaller commuter car and don"t have the space to keep it around. Does awesome in the snow with 4wd (high and low range). This would be a fantastic daily driver, family hauler, camping machine, or work truck.
List of maintenance performed:
o Original work done at 69K miles
o New fuel filter OEM
o Driver side ball joints OEM
o New front brakes OEM
o Front and rear differential fluid exchange
o Transfer case fluid exchange
o Transmission fluid exchange
o Radiator flush
o Heater core replacement OEM
o Replaced all hoses (upper/lower radiator and heater core)
o New carpet
o New custom-fit all-weather floor mats from Lloyd Mats store
o New custom-fit all-weather cargo bay mat from Lloyd Mats store
Since purchase over the last two years
o Regular oil changes
o Air filter replacement
o New OEM water pump (also replaced again coolant at this point)
o New OEM alternator
o New battery (April 2017)
o 4 new tires (installed April 2016 at 74,495 miles)
o General Grabber HTS 235 75 R15 tires (all season)
o New Monroe OEM-spec shock absorbers (installed October 2016)
o New blower motor resistor (both air conditioner and heater work great!)
o New drivers side power window motor (installed Feb 2016)
o Replaced rubber seal between hood and vehicle
Everything works on this car except for the radio (only the clock works), the rear window defroster, and the rear windshield wiper (works intermittently), and the rear windshield washer pump (front windshield washer pump works).
