Vehicle description

I"ve got a 1993 Dodge D250 Club Cab Cummins Diesel for sale, its got 266,XXX miles. It came from the Texas/Oklahoma area, and has no rust . I bought it just over a year ago and have done extensive repairs. When I purchased the truck I expected to fix a few things and drive it, I was wrong. But now, the truck is in very nice mechanical shape with many new parts mentioned below! I"ve rebuilt the transmission using good Borg Warner clutches and Transtec seals. I installed a transgo TFOD-diesel shift kit at the time and had the torque converter rebuilt.
While the transmission was apart I removed and cleaned the engine, replacing the timing cover seal, tappet cover gasket, and pan gasket. It got the "homemade" KDP fix using a piece of heavy wire held in place by the timing case bolt, and loc-tite on all the bolts that were accessible holding the timing case to the engine. I also installed a new aluminum radiator, hoses, water pump, and belt at the time. Both front engine mounts and rear transmission mount got replaced when the engine and transmission went back in place. And all of the filters got replaced, along with the lift pump once the engine was ready to fire up.
I"ve also put new Timken wheel bearings and races in the back along with new seals and spindle nuts. While apart it got new brake shoes, springs, wheel cylinders and drums. The carrier assembly was removed to inspect the bearings which looked and felt fine, as did the ring and pinion. The pinion bearings felt good when turning by hand and were not removed.
The driveshaft got all 3 U Joints replaced with grease-able Moog units and a new National drive shaft support bearing assembly.
I have just finished going through the front end as well. It"s got new wheel bearings, races, brake disks and pads, and new calipers. All ball joints were replaced with greasable moog problem solvers. The bushings in the upper and lower control arms were replaced. The coil springs were replaced with oem style moog springs. It also got new shocks at this time. The tires are all new Firestone Transforce A/T"s in a 235/85-16 size on factory style steel wheels. It has a receiver hitch and working trailer brake controller. I"ve gone through the truck to restore its road-worthy-ness as much as I could in the last year. I obviously did not plan to sell it at the time the work was being done, as seen by the thorough extent of the parts replaced/inspected. I"ve not needed the truck as much as I expected to, and have other uses for the money. That"s why it"s for sale. It is sold as-is and the only thing I know to not be in working order is the air conditioning. It"s got a bad A/C clutch and will need recharged after the clutch or compressor are replaced. For now it has a new non a/c belt that does not go around the compressor clutch. I"ll include the good belt that came with the truck and fits around the compressor. The title is clear and in my name, ready to go. Thanks for looking! Fell free to contact me with any questions.
