FOR SALE – 1992 Mazda Miata MX-5 Roadster – Tons of FUN for $3,500 This is a 1992 Miata Convertible, that I have had after purchasing not quite new in January 1993 – I always wanted a roadster that brought memories back riding in the older MG’s, but without the parts and maintenance headaches of an MG. I have owned this Miata for over 24 years! It has some dings and things, one would expect from a 25 year old car, but it still runs well, and is a lot of fun, especially with the manual 5 speed transmission. Has never been raced. Convertible top is original, and still in great shape. No holes or excessive wear. Rear window was replaced some time ago and looks great. Car has been garage stored since 1993, and has been stored winters since 1997. Replaced wheels with Konig Helium rims and Yokohama ES-100 performance tires @ 96,000 miles. Very sharp looking. Jackson Racing cold-air induction. Basney 90k service performed @ 92,000 miles, along with coolant flush, fuel induction service & master cylinder. Brakes & Clutch also replaced some time ago. Things that don’t work: I have never recharged the AC, as I did not need it - only drive now in good weather with the top down. The driver airbag light is flashing. Radio does not work, but replacing is not hard – a few screws. 2 speakers in doors, and 2 in each headrest (Clearwater add-ons). NO RUST. Just turned 100,000 miles this summer. Only 4,000 miles on the tires. Comes with a dust cover. Smoke free for the last 17 years, since 2000. Selling Cash only, as-is.
