Vehicle description
I purchased this car in June of 2016. I had quite a bit of work done to it since then, most completed by Gulfstream Jaguar in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2016-2017.
The battery and alternator were replaced. A set of wheels, adapters and new tires installed. Transmission serviced Radiator re-cored and all cooling hoses replaced electric fan installed
It still needs work. The top motor works, but leaks fluid so we just set it to manual and used the top that way. It has rust in the passenger side floor board area. There is also some areas of rust near the convertible top trim. I did my best to get pictures of these major areas. It needs body work and a paint job. The interior is in pretty poor shape.I refinished some of the wood pieces and I actually purchased another set of seats, door panels and center console that were in better shape along with a leatherique kit with plans to refinish and install them. I will include these items with the car.
I had Kel Auto Air Conditioning in Fort Lauderdale, FL Review the A/C system in 2017. They had it creating cold air, but it appears the blower motors needed replaced.
It would be a great project car or donor car as many of these parts are becoming increasingly rare. I tried to accurately capture the condition of the car in the photos, but you are always welcome to come check it out in Dawson, GA.
The car runs and drives, it was my daily driver for some time, but has been sitting for about 8 months since purchasing a home and moving to Georgia. It needs to move along and be put to use instead of just sitting and slowly wasting away. It has a clear Florida Title.
