“This has been my daily driver for the last 10 years. It is in good shape considering its age and use. It has some modifications as described as well as a few known issues:-Paint is tired.-Reverse gear synchro is worn out, so you have to shift into reverse carefully to avoid grinding.-There is a slight noise from the left rear of the car for the last 2k miles or so, likely coming from the CV joint.-Small dents and scratches-Drives fine but could use a tune for best performance.-AC has been removed” |

Vehicle description
1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Turbo DSM
Summary:
This has been my daily driver for the past 10 years. It has the wear and tear expected for its age and use but has been maintained carefully as well. I usually ride my bicycle, so the miles are fairly low for the car"s age.
I have modified the car to handle better by installing a nice set of coilovers (the ride is on the firm side), and to go faster through a variety of parts. The car hasn"t been tuned for a while, so I"ve turned the boost down to about 18psi which is a little more than stock. Cosmetically, the car"s age is apparent but there are no large dents. No more emission inspections - passed its last one earlier this year.
Issues:
-Paint is tired. -Reverse gear has started grinding recently. Otherwise the transmission is in good shape - it was rebuilt about 3-5k miles ago by Lucas English, they just didn"t replace the reverse synchros. -There is a slight noise from the left rear of the car for the last 2k miles or so, likely coming from the CV joint. -Small dents and scratches -Drives fine but could use a tune for best performance. -AC has been removed
Detailed list of modifications:
Suspension: -JIC FLT-A2 coilovers from RRE -rear anti roll bar from RRE -Polyurethane bushings -Aligned at Les Schwab, camber is -1.2 degrees front, -0.6 rear
Brakes: -stock, except slotted rotors on the front
Power: -Stock/original 6 bolt engine -272/272 cams -Evo 3 16g turbo -FMIC -DSMLink V2 (now ECMLink) -PTE 780cc/min injectors -Larger intake and exhaust piping, 2g MAS, high flow cat -Boost gauges and manual boost controller -Seems happy at 22psi and about 300 hp when tuned properly.
Other: -Carbon fiber hood -Aftermarket stereo with small amps in dash and aftermarket speakers in doors
Thanks for looking.
