Vehicle description
For sale is my beautiful GMC Syclone. This truck is almost completely stock/unmolested. It drives like an absolute charm and I"ve done a lot to sure up any pre-existing problems. Low price relative to the mileage and rarity of this truck. I"ve seen higher mileage ones sell for more. I always wanted to own one of these and I"m lucky that I got a chance to be one of the few owners ever of a Syclone. Just the 4th owner of this truck, and every time I"ve driven it on the highway I"ve enjoyed it immensely, especially when people give me a thumbs up if they know what it is. Still the fastest production truck ever made - will smoke a stock Lightning or SRT10 or 454SS from a start. The AWD is amazing and this thing pulls hard even upwards of 80+ mph it"s still pulling hard! To me that"s awesome, and also thanks to the truck being pretty light (I think it"s around 33-3400 lbs) and 350-360 lb ft of torque. Not to mention, it looks sweet from the outside. They really wanted to brand this baby so as you can see the word "Syclone" is everywhere on it.
Always garage stored. No rust whatsoever. I wash and shine it up frequently. I get complements everywhere I go. Very rare truck only 1 of 2998 ever made and this is production number 409. Shrieveport LA
Yes, it has a rebuilt title because of a collision it was it by a previous owner, but was reassembled using all OEM parts. Engine bay as you can see is fantastic.
LED Lights in interior Nitto 555r drag radials K&N drop in Black leather upholstery (stock starts just reupholstered and I have stock red/black door panel inserts too) A pillar Gauge pod New radio and sub setup Windows tinted
Recent: Complete inspection Firestone 11/2017 PCV Valve (to intake) 11/20/2017 @ 43200 Distributor Brass Cap & Rotor 11/20/2017 NGK UR6 plugs gapped at 0.035 w/ new ignition wires 11/20/2017 @ 43300
GMC dealership: IAC replaced 12/1/2017 @ ~43350 Alignment 12/1/2017 @ ~43350 Exhaust fixed Vacuum hoses checked (Around $750 for all this, yes I have the bill)
Previously had a little bit of an issue with start/idle. Would stall, so I changed the PCV valve thinking it would help, checked EGR and throttle body, finally surmised it was IAC, so that was replaced.
Really the only negative things I can say about this vehicle is the ABS light is on, but this is something I"ve not cared to look into, as I would do an ABS delete eventually anyway. Power window motors need replacement - they"re held in by rivets like the old S-10s and I don"t have a rivet gun. Replacing them would be an hour job with the right tools. Never cared too much about rolling down the windows anyway since the windows are tinted and the climate control options work fine. Lastly there"s some small dings and scratches on the paint (that I know of, one on the back cladding, on the tailgate, and on the driver"s side door) that"s hardly noticeable from more than 5 feet away. There"s a crack on the under cladding below the driver"s side tail light. See pictures. For a 1991 vehicle, it"s in outstanding condition nonetheless.
I will include the original factory door inserts, a replacement window motor, and a few other extras. In the box I"ll include most things that I"ve replaced as well. I have even another Brass Cap and Rotor for your next replacement in the future (purchased a spare at Oreilly). So now she mostly sits in garage. Selling as is miles will go up slightly as I occasionally drive it - car washes, battery and for test runs.
As I said before and just to highlight cons: Some minor dings and scratches on the paint. Power window motors need replacement ABS light is on SOme damage to the back cladding I recently discovered
