Vehicle description
1990 VW Corrado G60 BBM twin-screw Supercharged. 5spd.
DOES NOT COME WITH ALPINA WHEELS. It will be sold with ASA racing wheels.
My other projects/ aspirations have taken priority over her. I am not in a rush to sell it, just seeing if there is any interest. If not I still like it a lot, so I don"t mind keeping it.
Freshly rebuilt BBM Twin-Screw Supercharger. Plus spares.
Stage 4.
Headers and full exhaust.
Coil-overs and poly bushings.
Timing Belt/ water pump, belts, seals and everything related to the timing service replaced (all coolant and oil seals). No leaks.
Cooling system completely gone through.
Oil Cooler.
36mm oil pump, and oil baffle.
Poly suspension bushings up front.
New stainless inter-cooler pipe.
New power steering rack, tie rods, knuckle, ball joints, etc.
Rebuilt heatercore matrix.
Interior is in good shape.
Retractable spoiler works well.
Limited slip differential, unsure of what kind, but it has been upgraded by previous owner. You can feel it, will drive in snow on summer tires and I have taken it to a couple of autocross" and it pulls very well.
I am sure there are other things that I"m forgetting, but I have gone through this car and it is fast.
This is a very solid shell, just a dime spot of rust on the trunk lid, and back deck. But the underneath is very solid, as are the strut towers and everything else. It is not perfect paint wise, couple of dents and scratches but overall a very good N.E. car.
FYI - The supercharger is very loud, so don"t bid if you get annoyed easily by loud noises, and people constantly asking you if your car is broken, it is not, just a performance supercharger.
The issues that still need fixing -
Hood cable needs to be replaced.
Passenger window not working, I think the window control module is bad which slowly drains the battery if it has not been driven for a few weeks.
