Engine: 460 Big Block with EFI Transmission: Five Speed Two Wheel Drive Exterior: White Interior: Red Options: · Aftermarket AM-FM CD · Tow Hitch History: I bought this off Craig’s List two years ago from a guy in Eastern Kentucky who was getting out of a small excavating business. It had 96,028 miles when I registered it. If you check the VIN you will see that it came from the factory with a 6 cylinder engine. It was replaced with the 460 and five speed by someone before the previous owner. The previous owner bought it from a dealer in Memphis. It does not get used enough for me to keep. It is not a Super Duty despite the badge on the fender. The Good: I have replaced some of the components on this truck. New items during my ownership were: · New Exhaust including the Catalytic Converters. Pipe off exhaust manifold was not replaced. · New Radiator, thermostat and hoses · NAPA Water Pump including new plate · New Fel-Pro Head Gasket including new Bolts · Drivers Side Exhaust manifold · New EGR Tube and EGR valve · New O2 sensor · New Exhaust bolts. Machine shop removed broken bolts (Broken and missing bolts is a common 460 problem. They are all there now) · Starter and solenoid were replaced ( I rebuilt the old starter as a spare which is included) · New Intake Manifold Gasket · Cleaned Fuel Injectors and replaced o-ring seals · New Sparkplugs and Wires · New valve cover gaskets · Repaired some rust in the cab floor and painted Removed Carpet that was waterlogged · Brake Fluid Flush · Repaired Emergency Brake Cables · Transmission Service · New Motor Mounts · New Driver’s Side Window Felt · Tires are good. They were almost new when I bought it · Spare Rim · Rear shocks were replaced, · U-joints were replaced so they could be greased · New Fuel Filter · Added Vacuum gauge (Pulls 16-17 psi at idle) · Good Oil Pressure · Electric Hoist works. It dumped everything I put in the bed. · Trailer wiring for 7 prong RV plug added · New Fuel Filler intake hose. · Aluminum box for storage under bed · Looks like it could be set up for a fifth wheel hitch · VA Inspection until November New · ABS Sensor (will be done before sale) · Rear Differential Service using Synthetic Gear Oil (will be done before sale) · Shop Manuals included · GVW is 10,000 lbs The Bad: · Was repainted at some point but looks good from a distance · Seems to use a little oil. Fixed dipstick o-ring which may have been part of the issue. · Seems to use a little coolant but does not show up in oil · Driver’s side seat upholstery starting to come apart at seam · Not sure of battery age · Not sure of clutch condition but it functions fine. · Bed must be raised to fuel. I never found this to be an issue. · Bed sides are made of wood and may need replacing soon · Tail gate closers are hard to operate ( I have larger ones which go with the truck) Test Drive or Inspection: Send me an email through EBay.
