Vehicle description
WOW - WOW - WOW
HERE IT IS ! !
1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4 wheel drive
Possibly the nicest 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat in the country - not kidding
NO RESERVE - HIGH BIDDER WINS - NO GAMES OR GIMMICKS !
Garage kept its entire life, usually under a cover in the garage
One owner until I bought it from the widow last May
Perfectly straight - Absolutely no rust - Original paint
Truck is absolutely awesome - I"ve never seen a nicer version anywhere
The cap has been on since day one, the bed has been carpeted since bought new, nothing has seen the paint of the bed, it is literally amazing.
The interior is outstanding. The blue cloth in the photo is the cloth the widow said to me "This is the cloth we put down on the seats when we drove it so we would keep the seats nice." The blue carpet and cloth in the bed photo is the carpet the widow said "We used this piece of carpet over the tailgate because we were tired of the tailgate getting scuffed when we put things in it, then I got that other cloth too"
Check out the picture of the engine compartment and the close-up which shows the service intervals.
It had dual exhaust installed since it was new. My mechanic said "Someone went through a lot of expense to put this exhaust in, it looks like it actually is factory dual exhaust but I don"t think they offered factory dual exhaust then". So I don"t know if the exhaust is factory or not but it is as nice as the rest of the truck.
Truck had 26,927 miles in June of 2002. The owner passed away I believe several years later after an illness, and his widow kept it in the garage, only running it to get it inspected and run it up the road occasionally. I bought it in May of 2016 with just over 28k miles on it. I drove it a little and had my mechanic fix a fuel issue, and then I was going to just park it in my garage and look at since it is my favorite all-time truck and color combination. I put classic tags on it and put it in the garage until I just couldn"t take it any more and decided to drive it some. So I put updated the wiring harness and drove it around here some. I"ve put a little over 3,000 miles on it and it is an absolute joy to drive.
The 4 wheel drive works great, as does all the power windows, locks, and cruise control. The only thing that is wrong is the front tank fuel gauge doesn"t work, the tank works fine but the gauge needs replaced. And when the back tank gets to half a tank it sucks air but it works perfect on the top half. Literally that is the only two things at all wrong with the truck.
The paint is in excellent condition as is the overall truck and cap.
This is really my dream truck, but I have to sell because I need the money for something else. I hate to get rid of it but I feel the best way to let it go is in an open, fair, no games, no gimmicks, honest to goodness no reserve auction. That way the person who loves it as much as I do will be the high bidder and new owner.
Good Luck and Happy Bidding.
