Made in Milan, Italy by Maserati based on the Chrysler Dodge Daytona 300 Shortened Chassis (not the LeBaron Chassis). Total production from 1989 to 1991 of 7,300 cars with only 1,900 produced in 1990. Only 174 made with the Light Yellow exterior and Black leather interior color combination. The paintwork is exceptional and is Factory Basecoat/Clearcoat applied in Italy using PPG painting products made in USA. Priced at $40,000 when new. This model has the V-6 Engine that replaced the earlier 4-cylinder Turbocharged motors. The 141hp 3.0 liter V-6 motor supplied by Mitsubishi is coupled to the Four-Speed Chrysler A-604 Ultradrive automatic transmission. Relatively low mileage (101,000) car in excellent condition. No rust or damage. Convertible Top and Port-Hole Hardtop both in extremely good condition. Full complement of power accessories. Radio is the original Infinity by Chrysler AM/FM with Dolby Cassette player including Graphic Equalizer and four speaker stereo. Four Wheel Disc Brakes with ABS and overall McPherson-Strut suspension provide spirited handling and safety. The car has optional decorative exhaust ports on the front fenders.* All mechanicals are in excellent shape. New Tires. Service Manual. Original accessory Umbrella mounted in trunk. Car is ready to enjoy as advertised without any necessary expenditures. *Added Note: These decorative twin exhaust ports, which were never an option, on each front fender only belong on models with the 4-cylinder Turbocharged Engine. Previous owner added them unknowingly. The car originally came equipped with the 6-cylinder engine; so that these ports are out of place. Fortunately, they are attached with several screws and can be easily removed. There are non-functional so no big holes were cut into the fenders. If the ports are removed, the mounting screws should be replaced and coated with touch-up paint.
