Vehicle description
1990 Cadillac Brougham 5.0L V8 RWD with 35,* * miles. I bought this about 9 months ago and have been bringing it back to amazing working order and appearance condition. Just drove the car about 600 miles over the Thanksgiving holiday and it drove incredibly well. With that being said, I will continue to drive the car and the mileage will continue to increase with time. No tears in the vinyl top. No tears in the leather interior. If a part was overly aged, it was replaced. Not a single bit of sag or separation in the headliner.
The following parts were replaced in the last 3 months:
- Platinum Spark Plugs
- MSD Spark Plug Wires
- PCV Valve
- Distributor Cap and Rotor Button
- Fuel Filter
- Air Filter
- Battery
- Serpentine Belt
- Water Pump
- Front Brake Rotors, Pads and Wheel Bearings (inner and outer)
- New Cat Back Exhaust System (Stock)
- New set of stock size tires with 1.5 inch white wall (approx. 300 miles on tires)
-A/C just serviced and working (upgraded to R-134a)
The following parts were replaced in the last month with authentic NOS parts:
- Hood Ornament
- Roof Crest Set
- Rear Quarter Panel Script Set
- Trunk Lock Flipper and Wreath
- Trunk Lid "Cadillac" script and "5.0 Liter" Badges available but not yet put on vehicle
I also replaced the entire 12 piece plastic and chrome exterior trim/moulding set with a set from a donor car out of Nevada.
This car is ready for a cross country trip! Always 93 fuel and synthetic oil. Engine oil and filter recently changed. Transmission gasket, oil and filter recently changed. Rear differential oil and gasket recently changed.
Silver on silver on gray leather. Features include trumpet horn (train sound), power locks (all work), power windows (all work), power mirrors (all work), leather seats , sentinel auto lights (senses when the headlights need to come on), opera lamps, rear reading lights, level ride, burl wood trim, power driver and passenger seats with recliner and power trunk.
Included is a set of original NOS 23k gold plated key blanks included as well as original keys (2 sets each). Also, the original window sticker, spare tire with jack, manual, fitted car cover, and keyed hub cap remover are all included.
I am a very honest seller and person so the following are the bad: 1. Radio won"t turn on. I am very confident the power amp needs replaced. 2. When the original owner was on hospice she signed the car over to her daughter whom I purchased it from. Unfortunately, when she signed it over she marked the title as the odometer had rolled over. This is incorrect, however, now that she has passed there is no way to reverse this mark on the title. The vehicle manual indicates this as will the original owner"s daughter which I"d be happy to put you in contact with. 3. The only adverse item on this vehicle"s CARFAX is that it was involved in a minor incident in 2012 where someone hit the rear end of the car. As you probably know, this car was built like a tank and this incident had very little asthetic affect on the car. Please see pictures.
This car is truly one of the last great American luxury cars. Both rear doors have their own ashtrays and Cadillac lighters while the front has a single ashtray and lighter, none of the lighters have ever been used. The seats are like sitting on a plush couch and the ride is like that of a boat on smooth water. Really a fun car that gets a lot of looks and questions.
