Vehicle Details Rare 1989 VW Jetta GLI Wolfsburg Edition, One of only 1500 made. Helios Blue Exterior with Blue striped Recaro seats and Blue 15 inch BBS Wheels. Complete, but needs repair or restoration.I bought this car last year from a longtime owner. He said it was running when parked. The intake was off the car when I bought it. I haven't done anything to it so the car is not currently running .It appears to have everything it needs to be put back together. The car has no rust or rot, other then minor stuff visable in the pictures. The hood, roof and drivers side are nice and straight, the passenger side has significant dents/damage to both doors and the rear quarter panel. In my opinion, the quarter is definitely repairable, the doors need to be replaced. The doors open and close nicely and are otherwise complete. The rocker is undamaged. I have a nice Helios Blue passenger fender to go with it. The interior is complete and pretty nice. Recaros are in good shape, as well as the blue carpet and door panels. This is a great project for a Mk2 enthusiast. It has a clean Maryland title, rolls easily, brakes work and the tires all hold air.
