The item up for your consideration is a 1989 Nissan PAO. This car was introduced at the 1987 Tokyo Motor Show as a Concept car. It was put into limited production in 1989 for only three months and sold at high end Nissan dealers through a lottery system. These cars were sold only in Japan and they sold out before all orders could be filled. It is the second car in a series of four concept cars. The first was the Be-1 in 1987. The second was the PAO in 1989. The third was the S-Cargo Van in 1990. The forth was the Figaro in 1991. All these concept cars were built at the Nissan Pike Factory in Japan.
This car being a 1989 model is perfectly legal to own here in the U.S. I purchased the PAO from a Florida dealer in Jan. 2015 and it has a CLEAN and CLEAR Wisconsin title in my name. The VIN is PK10106699. I could not include this in the Ebay listing format because it will not accept a VIN this short, but I can assure you this is correct. This car is in very good mechanical condition with all aspects working as they should. The canvas SUNROOF (a highly sought after option) must be opened and closed manually, there is a tool provided. The paint finish is in above average ORIGINAL condition as well as the interior. All the glass is very good with no chips or cracks. The engine starts and runs good and the transmission shifts properly through all gears. This car is a right hand drive and is very easy to adjust to.
All in all, this is a real piece of automotive history that has been very well preserved and maintained over the years. It is quite reliable and a big hit at car shows and cruise nights.
