This wagon is well equipped. Three-way tailgate; auto rear window (works excellent); Interval wipers; Luggage carrier w/ deflector; Twin comfort Lounge seats; Eight passenger with rear seats; fuel injection; Automatic climate control-Air Conditioning; Power windows, door locks, outside mirrors; cruise control; Six-way power seats; visor vanity mirrors-driver & passenger; premium radio w/ cassette; Trip minder digital clock-computer control, instant & average gas mileage & trip mileage, Auto. Lamp-automatic headlight ON control; Cornering Lamps w/ turn signals; Load Leveler automatic rear shocks; Mag wheels including spare tire wheel; Traction Lok rear axle - differential lock - snow; locking gas cap; Two mounted snow tires. The recorded average gas mileage is 20 MPG. This is all original. The motor runs smooth. The previous owner loved this cruiser. Any problems were professionally repaired. A folder containing all maintenance records is included. New weather stripping kit is included; A new transmission was installed by a local autu dealership; new heater core was installed by Ford Dealership, these are just an example of how the previous owner kept this automobile up. He even kept record of every fuel-up in a notebook. The Owner passed on couple years ago. I purchased it from his family this fall with the intent of listing it on this site. Shifting from Second to Third - I feel it shifts too soon at low speeds. Remedy: I called an acquaintance, (a genuine trans Guru)- told him the symptom & he advised the "AOD TV cable" most likely requires adjustment - beyond my level. I mention that this perceived issue only is apparent when driving at a low speed takeoff, because if I takeoff with some pedal, it shifts from second to third in a normal fashion, On the driver"s side - top corner of dash (where the factory installed holes are punched for speaker sound), an area about thumb-size is damaged. The tape-deck portion of the sound system works well, but I"m not sure if the radio portion works (I haven"t checked the manual for proper operation, all the manuals issued when new, are in the glove box) The auto antenae works excellent. The vehicles" right rear panel was damaged back in January of 1999 and repaired by a reputable Body shop. The workmanship was obviously good. Absolutely no rust-anywhere - body or frame. After I purchased it, I had a reputable shop replace the fuel pump and the starter solenoid. The "low fuel" light comes on. (the mechanic said this is an easy fix, since you don"t remove the tank to change the fuel-level indicator; he also said it may just need a full tank of gas to reset the indicator). Also, the interior is rip free and in excellent condition (soft, pleated, velour). The owner had the car repainted to the same, original color. My sons have sold many vehicles on this site and both have a 100% feedback. I"m following their instructions and will work to achieve a 100% feedback also.
