Up for sale is a red 1989 Honda Prelude, with about 138k miles on it. I"ve been using this as my winter / backup car for many years, but it"s time for it to find a new home. The car does have a remote start system installed, which is nice on cold mornings. Would be great to fix up and drive around, or to use as a donor / parts car. The motor runs strong, and starts every time. I"m selling it because I will be getting a newer car shortly, so I have to make room. This car DOES NOT have 4WS. The car is located in Huntington, New York.
The Del Sol wheels shown in most of the pictures are being sold separately, and are not included. The car currently has a set of 16" Konig Monsoon 5-spoke aluminum wheels on it (seen in 9th picture). The tires have some tread left and hold air, but should be replaced due to age.
The car starts right up and drives great. I was driving it every day this past winter, and parked it about 3 weeks ago. The biggest issue is that the fuel tank seems to be leaking, so that should be replaced although I did drive it for a couple months like that. Other issues are listed below.

Issues: Fuel tank is leaking Windshield is cracked A/C doesn"t blow cold (heat works fine) Power steering pump leaks a little Trunk will not open with the key - must use inside handle Tires have tread, but are old and should be replaced Paint is kind of beat Some rust / dents in body Malfunctioning seat belt beeper goes off sometimes. I"ve been meaning to unplug it.
Good things / modifications: Rockford Fosgate AM/FM/CD player Remote start 16" Konig Monsoon aluminum wheels installed Drilled / slotted zinc coated rotors, new ceramic brake pads on all 4 wheels, and new rubber brake hoses up front. Brakes have about 1200 miles on them, and were installed back in November. Ignition switch was replaced with a new one last year Aluminum underdrive crank pulley installed (original pulley will come with the car) Tokico Red lowering springs (1" drop) with Tokico Blue shocks / struts. OEM shocks / struts and springs will be included with the car. Recently replaced upper control arm bushings on all 4 corners with new Whiteline bushings, main suspension bushings also replaced Pacesetter exhaust, with additional (used) rear section included Interior is in great shape, except for the stitching coming apart on both ends of the rear seat cushion (see pics) Includes 2 OEM Honda keys, plus a valet key and the remote start fob Clean / clear Michigan title
