For sale is my "89 Mustang LX 5.0 Hatchback. If you are looking for a perfect foundation for a project this is your car! This is a VERY solid car with ZERO rot anywhere, the strut towers are perfect at the bottoms where they normally rot, and no other rot is visible in the floors, quarters, rockers, etc. The interior is fairly clean with a few minor issues That can be scrubbed out. The car does need some mechanical attention. The way the car sits is exactly the way I bought it with intentions of a full restoration. However, priorities have shifted and I have to let it go. It has a GT40 intake and heads, full length BBK headers, Pypes cat-back, BBK cold air intake, and a newer clutch and T5. There is an issue with the lower end of the engine which I have not had a chance to look into. The previous owner said he was driving it and it just froze up. It has no battery and I"ve never even tried to turn it over. My plan was to simply buy a new short block and use all of the GT40 upper parts. It also has a newer aluminum radiator and is lowered (brand of springs unknown). Included in the sale is a brand new in the box set of tubular upper and lower control arms, a brand new in the box electric fan, and 2 brand new in the box 17x10" gloss black pony wheels with polished lips. This is a great opportunity to have a really nice start for a project that can be a simple build and drive it, or a full restoration! I am slightly negotiable on the price, but no low ballers!
