Vehicle Details Selling my 1989 Ford F-250. It's an extended cab, 4x4, long bed with a gas 7.5L (460 ci) V8. It has a new battery, new starter, and new starter solenoid. It also has upgraded bucket seats in the front from a newer truck. Has the dual gas tanks that both work.I bought this as a project truck, but haven't got the time to finish it. I haven't driven it much, so I don't know everything about it. It does need some work, here's what I know.1) It starts and runs, but burns oil. It at least needs the heads rebuilt as the #1 cylinder has no compression. I think it has either a stuck or broken valve. Heads can be rebuilt for under $200 each.2) It needs some exhaust work. When I got it there was a section of the exhaust missing that I have temporarily repaired. I am suspicious of the catalytic converter. It may need to be replaced.3) It has a propane system on it that was poorly set up. It has a large tank that's about 1/4 full. I have disconnected the system under the hood, but it's still there.4) It will need an air filter box and the air lines from it.I have driven it, and the transmission shifts smoothly and feels good.Feel free to ask any questions.
