Purchased new in Winder, GA (original invoice part of documentation), this like new, original, unrestored 1989 Silverado Blazer never left the county. With only two previous owners and only 74,000 miles, it does not appear it was ever off the pavement. The factory paint under the truck has never been dirty. .the transfer skid plate is unscratched.
This Silverado package includes tilt, p/s, power disk (new pads) a/c, (works like new) cruise (also works like new) power door and rear window all working, opening side windows in back also working.
The optional fold down rear seat, carpets, factory floor mats, door panels, chrome hardware, console, controls are all in like new condition. Even the ash tray looks like new. The dash has two cracks smaller than typical of a truck this age. There are also two small tears in the driver seat.
The repaint is very good with a few small blems that a good buffing would handle. The paint on the tailgate has faded with some flaking. Also a blister at the top of the passenger side A pillar.
Chrome on bumpers like new with no dings or dents. Even the front spoiler is like new. The dealer option "Blazer" running lights and aluminum steps (I removed these as while functional they looked funky) are included ready for re-installation.
The only rust we can find is on a section of the passenger side inner fender under the battery try. Obviously from a once bad battery. Any other rust is surface only!
The 350ci engine runs great (new oil/filter change), 700R transmission shifts like new (new filter/fluid). I installed a new alternator and belt plus have new tension and idler pulleys but not yet needed. Even the retractable under hood trouble light works!
The alloy wheels show some age but chrome caps like new. Still has original spare tire with cover. Four new Gabriel HD shocks installed. New front sway bar bushings.
