Vehicle description
Hello Everyone! I am selling my 1989 BMW 325i Coupe (E30) that I purchased in January from the parents of a high school friend (first owner). The interior is in immaculate shape and is by far the highlight of this car. As any E30 purist can tell you, a perfect interior is harder to come by than perfect exterior. Crack free dash, perfect seats, nice door cards, etc. The trunk is clean and dry. Full size spare in great shape. I went through this car all winter anticipating enjoying her on the Cape this summer but unfortunately circumstances have changed. I have put approximately 800 miles on the car since the work was performed.
Over the winter I have replaced a litany of parts. .
Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, battery, all V-belts, air filter, plug wires, seals, synthetic oil distributor cap and rotor, bulbs, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, thermostat, injector seals, oil, filter, coolant, Cd player and much much more! I replaced any minor interior trim defects (cracked door handle trim etc)
Pros: The AC blows cold , the car has ample power, tires are mismatched between BF and Falken with plenty of tread. Manual sunroof that doesn"t leak and is rust free. Factory spoiler installed by BMW in 1989. All maintenance records since day one. I still have the original purchase and sale from Trans Atlantic motors right here in Hyannis MA. The trunk is very clean and dry. The tool kit is more than half complete. Spare tire is in great shape and comes with the jack ad wrench.
Cons: The body is very straight but need paint. The hood, fenders, and front valance have rock chips. The front bumper cover needs to be adjusted. The rear valance is wrinkly and has a small rust hole. The bottom corners of the door jams has minor surface rust.
I have the car listed locally for $4300 and I reserve the right to end the auction early if a sale is made. The car itself is located in Hyannis MA at my family"s home.
