PORSCHE 928 S4, 1988, Black/black. Has professionally installed all stock GM 5.7 LT1, done by me in my shop. We do only classic front-engne Porsches and this is as nice as any we"ve seen. The big difference: It has a professionally installed all stock GM 5.7 LT1, done in my shop. It will never need an expensive ($2,000+) Porsche timing belt/water pump job! (We"ve done many 928 and 944 conversions.) This car was built with reliability as the main goal. This is not a temperamental hot rod! Engine change done several years ago at 54,000 miles and it"s been back and forth to Florida many times w/zero issues. Engine came from a "97 Camaro with 22,000 miles when it was rolled. Everything else in the car is original Porsche including the Porsche (Mercedes 722) four speed automatic transmission with (220 code) limited slip differential. Performance is similar to stock 928 with the exception of a lot more torque from idle. Cold A/C without overheating. I believe all of the paint is original with the exception of the front bumper. Always garaged! The interior is in exceptionally good condition with none of the typical cracks in the dash or instrument pod! No excuses need be made for this car, it"s right!. .
