Vehicle description
I am selling my grandpa"s 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT with a 5 speed manual. This car was his daily driver from 1988 to about 2007 and he put 206,053 miles on the car. Around 2006, he had a mechanic replace the stock 2.8L V6 and put in a 3.4L pushrod V6 from an early 2000"s Chevy Monte Carlo that had about 50,000 miles. Right before he stopped driving it, he replaced many of the suspension components with polyurethane and replaced the stock springs with coilovers as you can see in the pictures.
The car has been sitting since 2007 and is currently on non-op here in California. The title is clean and ready to be signed away by my grandmother. I recently put brand new tires on the Fiero so it would roll. The car does not start due to rats chewing through the wires and will need to be towed. The interior was mostly gutted, but all of the stock parts and gauges were kept with the exception of the center console. He had planned to redo the interior as well as the exterior, but due to health issues, it never happened.
I was going to restore the car; however, I have too many other projects going on and need to sell it. There are lots of parts that come with this car including:
- both interior door panels with map pockets purchased from to replace the old ones -2 sets of brand new quarter windows - 2 axle shafts - 2 Fiero front emblems, the original and an NOS one - brake booster - brand new shift boot from Fiero Store -original body panels - Stock radio (he put a CD player and Sirius XM in the car but I"m not sure if it works) - 3.4 heads/intake (when the engine was swapped he put the Fiero heads and intake on the 3.4) - NOS oil filters -NOS bushing - NOS taillight lens (both taillight lenses) - Fiero memorabilia metal sign (not shown in photos) - brand new set of lug nuts and covers from Fiero Store - 2 owners manuals -2 service manuals - other Fiero manuals and books
Please contact me if you have any questions. This is a rare find and it could be a great project car or even a parts car.
