This is an absolutely beautiful original 1988, with the only modifications being the air conditioning system upgrade and a new muffler. It was a one owner car until I bought it a couple of months ago. Two weeks after I bought it, I injured my left leg, and at 71 years old, now find it difficult to shift, so I just bought a mint Lexus convertible. I bought this car from a rich lady. She told me she ordered it special to get a blue top and interior, which is very rare in this year. The car sounds incredible, and it is very fast. After I had the car delivered, I brought it to Jim Hudson Ford here in SC, and they told me they rarely see this year car in such great condition. According to them, it could use a radiator flush, and a couple of minor things. Last week I brought it back to the dealer and bought a new F150 truck. I decided not to trade it in as they couldn"t give me what it is worth. The top is original, and operates perfectly. The boot is still in the original package. Don"t think it was ever used. There are two negatives I see. When you get out of the car, the seat belts tend to fall out, and I think the doors have been closed many times on them, therefore, there is a little play in both driver and passenger doors. Toward the back of the convertible top, there is a little pinhole. Doesn"t concern me because I have the car garaged, but have to point it out as it compromises an otherwise perfect top. I would be happy to take the car to any Ford dealer to have it inspected at your expense. I also have a friend who transports. .directly. .so no worries about having the car loaded and unloaded five times before it gets to you, or any surprises with price or delivery dates. I love cars, but I"m not a collector, so will try and answer any questions. Please do not purchase this car unless you are prepared to furnish a non refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours, and complete the transaction within 10 days after that.
