Vehicle description

Hello bidders,
This is my 1988 Ford Bronco XLT. This truck was owned by a family friend for a number of years before we bought it last Spring. It has been in good hands, being used as a fun second vehicle for nice days outside. For as long as I can remember the truck has been stored in a heated garage every winter, and taken out only when the roads are dry and the sun is out. It has only been driven a few hundred miles per year, hence why the mileage is at 91k for a 30 year old truck. We have always been extremely careful and meticulous with maintenance, only using high quality parts, fluids, and taking it to reputable mechanics. Bottom line: this has truck has been driven lightly, and taken care of as any older vehicle deserves.
Before I continue; here is a list of new parts that have been installed recently. (I"m sure I"m forgetting more, this is what I can remember) -All new exhaust from the headers back (Professionally done, not too loud) -Lots of new suspension parts including struts all around -Fairly new off road tires -New U-joints -New speedometer cable
In terms of the condition of the truck, I urge you to look at all the pictures to determine what shape it is in for yourself. I spent a good chunk of time with my camera making sure to capture every side of the truck. In my opinion, I would say it is in "good" condition overall. It has a few minor imperfections, but for an all original truck I think it has survived better than most of the same vintage. There is a small section of the driver side-rear quarter panel that looks to be worked on sometime in the past. I have purchased a new piece of sheet metal to replace this from LMC truck, and I will be including that with the truck. The hood has a couple spots where the paint has chipped off, but the surface is smooth, and should be able to be repainted easily. There are some small rust spots along the tailgate, but that is the worst of it on the body. The underside and frame of the truck are all solid, with only the lightest layer of rust that is much less than expected for a 30 year old Ford truck. I did my best to photograph the bottom of the truck, but I can take more if requested. The rear bumper is slightly bent on the inside lip, it is hardly noticeable unless you get close to the truck.
The interior is in very good shape in my opinion. Once again, the pictures tell the whole story, but everything is in good condition for the age. All the electronics and lights work including all the gauges. The heat blows strong and the AC was working decently for the how old the truck is. You would have no issues with spending time in this truck. The family we bought it from installed a custom roll-bar in the rear trunk area. It is not very large, and it will come up with a few bolts if you don"t like it. Unfortunately the windshield is cracked, it happened when we were washing it on a very hot summer day. I have adjusted the price accordingly to account for the cost of a new one. The rear speaker grills are missing; I found a set on eBay for about $20.
I have uploaded a video of the truck idling so that you can hear the engine. The truck is ready to drive with no mechanical issues. Here is the link: https:/ youtu.be/nLiB9Oqq18I
Well I think that just about covers everything, like I said before please look at all the pictures to see exactly what the truck looks like. I am more than willing to answer any questions, or take additional pictures on request. If the buyer plans on shipping the truck, that will all need to be take care of on your end, however I am willing to help find a service.
Thank you so much for checking out my Bronco, have a nice day!
