This is a rare great condition hard to find Dodge 4x4 B350 van. 1988 model with just 64,987 miles, automatic transmission, Dana 60 front axle, and everything works great. This van was stationed as an ambulance here in dry western Colorado and owned by a municipality. Due it to being a severe use designated vehicle, all of the components are over-built with durability in mind. The body on this van is extremely straight with no damage and zero rust on the body or underneath.
Great power from the V8 motor, shift great, and two speed transfer case. Interior has been converted with passenger seats, carpeted benches, tons of storage, and set up for a bed across the back. Van is already wired for "shore power" so plug in your generator and run the rear AC and other components separate from the primary charging system.
This van as you can see in the pics has been set up with a dual battery system and power inverter with solar charging capabilities. This is charged off of the engine when running and can be completely isolated when needed as well. There is even a additional factory battery box to implement two separate charging systems.
This van starts right up, runs cool, doesn"t smoke, has great oil pressure, and is completely turn key. Take it camping or on road trips. This van has tons of room and with the elevated room is easy to stand up in the rear and not feel cramped. Tons of storage cupboards and even a separation door from the drivers area to the back for privacy. Interior and outside lights work, so great for the campsite.
Body is in excellent shape and the clear coat is peeling greatly on the one side. You can leave it as it is or repaint it. Single crack in the windshield, small oil leak at rear of pan when parked, and fuel level rears a little lower than actual. Full Auto Meter Gauges added along with all new sending units.
