I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful 911. The first owner owned it for 1.5 year and the second owned it from 1999 to 2020. I bought it from him last summer during cover. I flew from Texas to Miami, Fl. I inspected the car, bought new tires (Continental), and drove it back 1,337 miles to Texas (in July). The car ran flawlessly then and it still does. It has been parked in the same spot for over a year and there is NOT a drop of oil underneath it. This Porsche is a bit of a time capsule. It has the original paint which, besides a few tiny rock chips on the hood, it gorgeous. There has never been any paint work done on the car. Ever. The paint is lustrous and amazing. The odometer was 71,000 when I bought it and is 73,801 now.
The paint is called Cassis Red Metallic. It is stunning. The complementary Dark Burgundy leather interior is in amazing shape with minor wear for 35 year. The dark brown convertible top is in excellent condition. It has only ever been washed with Woolite for dark colors. The top is original. The tonneau cover is original. I even have the original cover that covers the interior (including passenger seat) when the top is off. The only changes ever made to this car are the stereo and the rock guards. I have the original and working radio. This car has been babied and must be one of the best examples around. I have the full service history from 1999 to 2020. Anything that needed mechanical attention has always been done. Tires are new and turbo tie rod ends were added in July/August of 2020. A/C blows cold and is in perfect working condition.
