1987 TRANS AM GTA
Being offered is a clean, garage kept, 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. This car looks, runs and drives awesome. Here is your chance to invest in one of the most sought after body styles GM ever made, and they are steadily going up in value, and getting harder to find each year. This car offers the following: POWERTRAIN This GTA is powered by its original, rebuilt, L98 5.7 Tune Port Injection motor, that is all stock and never been modified. This car does have 3" exhaust, Flowmaster muffler, and chrome tips. The car has all new plugs, and wires and distributor. The car has recently had new battery, new alternator, and all new fluids. All suspension components, and brakes are in good working condition. The car has factory 4 wheel disc brakes option, and 3.27 Posi Rear. The trans is the original, rebuilt 700 R4 automatic with overdrive, shifts firm, stock shifter in factory console. The rear end is stock with all new bearings and fluids. This car sounds awesome, and is a blast to drive. EXTERIOR This Trans AM has a very slick paint job, on a garage kept, rust free body. The car was professionally painted with PPG basecoat clearcoat years ago, and has been garage kept and well maintained for shows and cruise in"s, and shows mirror like reflections as can be seen in the pictures. This car has a clean accident free Car Fax report. I would rate the paint a 8 to 8.5. It is really shiny and slick as it appears in the pictures, but does have imperfections. It has the factory GTA hood with vents, Gm hood bird decal, and factory rear GTA trunk spoiler with third brake light. The front bumper has some typical spider web cracks, and rear spoiler needs to be refinished, rear bumper has some typical third gen spider web cracks as well, mostly not noticeable unless right up on them. All gaps line up nice and doors close easily. The doors, under hood and trunk jams are nice as well. The undercarriage is very solid. The floors, wheel wells, trunk, and frame rails are very solid. All weatherstrip, and rubber is nice. The GTA is sitting on set of Polished American Racing Torq Thrust 2 wheels. They are wrapped in Z rated tires. 225 45 17 front and 245 45 17 rears. The car has a nice stance and gets looks and compliments everytime I take it out.
INTERIOR This Ta has a clean original, rare, deluxe black cloth interior with digital dash, and electronic temperature controls. The interior is in very nice condition for its age. Only 1700 GTAs, had this interior. The front and rear seats are in great condition. The door panels, and carpet are nice also. The glass is all nice. Power windows and locks work. The dash pad is perfect and digital gauges are in nice condition also. Headliner is original and perfect. This car has the overhead console option as well. All electrical is in good working condition. Ac blows cold, cruise control works. Car has a JVC Cd player. I also have PHS docs ( GM Heritage) on the car, copy of original sales invoice, and window sticker options.
