Vehicle description
This is the real pace car for the Watkins Glenn Speedway that started the Nascar race in 1987 . Super nice and took about 5 years to build , pending on many NOS parts . Engine bay was fully powder coated , rebuilt 2.3 Turbo engine . 5 speed car . Owned for many of years in my collection . Every light front and back are all NOS . Body molding are all NOS . NOS glass , wheels were sent off to be restored , all new A arms , gas tank, fuel pump , the list goes on and on . Pure stock and ready to show . Years ago top magazine asked to do a story , but was not done with the restoration . They also knew that this was the real car and there was only 1 car that stared the race . Only thing I could not find for that time frame in 87 was the light bar that was on the car . OEM stock seats and no cracks in the dash , still has the am/fm tape player with EQ . Can make a package deal on the 28 foot enclosed Gooseneck trailer made by Hallmark that I bought new . True one of a kind .20 K just in the restoration . Not driven , just trailered and showed .
