Vehicle description
Selling a 1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with 22RTE turbo gas engine. It has the original engine with 119k miles. The vehicle was originally purchased and remained in Tucson, AZ for most of it"s life. I have owned the truck for almost 5 years. Took the truck for emissions on 3/10/18. Passed first time, well under the allowed limits. See above photo (the mileage is listed wrong at 191k). There is ZERO rust on this truck and the 4x4 works great! Clean title and ready to go. Buyer pays shipping. Truck is sold as is, no warranty.
Since my ownership, the following has been upgraded/replaced:
- LCE Performance Headlights (allows bulbs to be replaced vs factory sealed halogen assemblies) - New windshield installed by Safepro Auto Glass - New OEM style carpet - Pro Comp wheels with Cooper Discoverer AT/3 31x10.50R15 (less than 5000 miles) - Bilstein B6 shocks (less than 5000 miles) - Kenwood Stereo with external amp - 4" Rockford Fostgate speakers in dash, 6x9" Rockford Fosgate in boxes behind seats
Engine: - Replaced exhaust gasket - Replaced spark plug wires and distributor cap - Replaced PCV grommet, breather hose and front valve cover breather hose - Replaced timing chain and guides - Valve adjustment after timing chain - Clutch master cylinder replaced at 109k - Clutch replaced (less than 5000 miles) - Rebuilt air intake - Turbo and manifold removed and inspected. ZERO shaft play and ZERO cracks on manifold (huge surprise)
The bad: - Paint is faded - There is a dent on the cab above the rear window, pictures available upon request - Radiator has pin hole leak at neck. I will attempt to fix prior to selling.
Could be a problem: - The factory bench seat was in rough shape and replaced with 2006 Subaru WRX bucket seats. Very comfortable seats but they sit high. Anyone taller that 5"10" may not fit. Many aftermarket seats are available but I fit, so it was not a priority.
