Vehicle description
Beautifully restored and purpose build Land Cruiser. This truck was built with love and care by my father who recently passed. He worked as a dealership mechanic for 40 years and worked for Toyota for almost 20 years. This truck was purpose built to seek and destroy Chukar"s! Dad loved Toyota"s and loved to hunt. Since he was a master mechanic he decided he needed this truck to not only be beautiful but also he needed more power. So he purchased and installed a new crate 350 cubic inch engine. I would say this new engine has less then 2000 miles on it. The car also has a brand new paint job painted in a very nice metallic Copper Satin paint. He then replaced the interior with new custom seat covers, door panels and headliner. All the suspension has been gone through and looks to have about a 1-1/2" to 2" Old Man Emu lift kit on it. New shocks and leaf springs. The engine has shorty headers, a serpentine belt system, HEI distributor and new holley carburetor. Of course with the installation of the new engine a new clutch was installed. This car starts right up and runs super smooth and powerful. Much more power and torque then what the stock engine allow. I just took the truck out today for a test drive and just cannot believe how nice it drives. Engine fires right up, idles super smooth, shifts smoothly through all the gears and cruises at 70 mph at about 1500 rpm"s and track true and straight. Tires look to be new as well. I truly believe you will not find a better performing FJ60 out there. In checking the electrical I found all the lights and gauges to work correctly. The tail lights, running lights, brake lights and blinkers all work as they should. Below are a list of things I noticed that did not work or the truck still needs. Dad was about 98% completed with the restoration but still had some things to finish. Here is the list: Needs radio, Rear wipers do not turn on, Horn does not honk, Small ding in rear tailgate (The only ding I could find on the car), Fuse panel on dash missing Of course since the engine has been modified it will not pass smog in smog state. Other then that the car is tip top and will be a great truck for anyone lucky enough to own it. I am selling the truck for my mother who lives near Carson City Nevada
