Vehicle description
The definition of driving pleasure
The new models of Porsche are highly popular around the world with the reason being as simple as they deliver an outstanding unique driving experience; this foundation of driving pleasure was built upon the early 911’s and continues to this day.
The 1986 911 Carrera had an increased output power to 228 HP and 209 lb/ft torque. Which for the period was pretty good, considering the car only weighed 2469 lb’s. The power to weight ratio, in other words, played a major role in this fantastic driving experience. Even by today’s standards, the car sticks to the road and accelerates effortlessly.
This particular car has been garage kept and well maintained; we have a large file of maintenance records, going all the back to when the vehicle was purchased in Macon, GA, at BO Willis-Porsche.
The paint is in good condition; the car has a deep luster shine, maybe even better than when it was first purchased; a re-spray has been done on the hood. Still, no other signs of paintwork are visible; the jet-black interior shows well and is entirely original except for an updated CD sound system. The vehicle has never been in an accident; we have the Carfax and can send it to you upon request.
Please let us know if you would like to see the vehicle. If you’re from out of town, you’re more than welcome and encouraged to have a pre-purchase inspection done.
We can provide a lift and make any accommodations necessary, we look forward to speaking with you about this beautiful classic vehicle.
