Less than 300 units were ever produced for 1986 and 1988 model years, ONLY by special order. This particular vehicle was produced in early February 1986 in Sindelfingen, Germany and delivered on February 24th to the customer by the selling dealer "Rallye Motor Cars" of Roslyn, New York. It is finished in Mercedes" original racing color from the 1930"s "Astral Silver Metallic" (code DB735) with a "Gray" MB-Textile (code 178) interior. It is pleasantly optioned with anti-lock brakes, headrests in the rear, cruise control, power antenna, power windows, power sunroof, headlamp wipers, light alloy rims, anti-theft system and more. . This car starts right up and drives diligently down the road at any speed. The coveted 5-Speed shift box makes it a true delight to operate.
