1986 Ford Mustang LX 5.0L Coupe/Notchback. One of only 2825 5.0L Notchbacks produced and last of the "4 eye" cars. This car was saved from the daily grind by me 12+ yrs ago and has been barely driven since. Current motor is a Ford Racing BOSS363 crate engine rated at 500hp. Transmission is a Performance Automatic AOD that been upgraded with one piece input shaft, Silverfox (Dan) Valvebody and PTC torque convertor. Engine has less than 1200 miles and transmission was freshened a year ago. Car has full tubular UPR front suspension, 99/01 Cobra front brakes (Baer Calipers) w/hydro boost Power Steering, Rear SN95 disc brakes w/fox length Yukon axles (31 spline & Trak-Loc Diff) and 4.10 gear, Aluminum driveshaft and Hotchkis rear suspension. Weld Aluma Star 2.0 17" front & 15" rear wheels. Car has some paint defects (painted over 10yrs ago), small pin hole on top passenger door, solid floor, door jam and torque boxes. All weather stripping, door bushings, carpet, headliner and package tray replaced. Power sunroof does not leak. Additional pictures available upon request.
