About this vehicle This 1986 Ford Mustang is an original with updates to the exterior. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable. Seller"s Notes Please contact for any questions. Vehicle Details This is an 1986 mustang GT. It runs great, drives well. The trasmission is very tight and there is no grinding or odd noises. It has a few modifications including gears (I’d guess 3.73) sub frame connectors, lower control arms on the rear, headers with exhaust (no cats) and a worthless air intake (I prefer fenderwell or oem). The body has dents and dings, the paint isn’t great, the car has very little rust. There is only one spot on the lip of the hatch starting, otherwise no rust. The car needs a heater core (surprise!), the speedo isn’t accurate, the interior is complete but a bit faded, and the a/c is inop, push button start. I’m sure it’s rolled the odo at least once. This is just an honest fox body that when you fire it up, it sounds great, it drives down the road well, the power windows work great and it’s very much worth of being a daily driver you can tinker with. I love the 86 body style with the fuel injection. The car is a blast and it feels like a bump back in time when these were super cheap, fun to beat on and just flat out ran well for what they are.
