1986 Ford LTD Country Squire LX Station wagon. 302(5.0), multi-port fuel injection. AOD trans, 8.8 rear end. This car is loaded for its year.
Was A Barn Find in Pittsburgh , PA. I did a lot of work to it.($3000 in parts) Drove her about a year , put about 5 k miles on her a few years ago. Swapped out the tailgate as the other one wouldn"t stay latched any longer. Couldn"t get this new one to adjust into place . stopped messing it with it when I found another 1986 Country Squire in better shape. Kept this one for a parts car.
Car starts right up, drives fine. Needs TLC to make a daily driver again. Its a good project car , or a parts car. Front brakes have a leak at a union. Exhaust doughnut bad at passenger manifold . usual things you would expect from a 31 year old car.
Looking to thin the herd so to speak. Price is firm. These are hard to find complete. I am not dropping the price to $500 for the demo car SAVAGES!
