1986 Chevrolet Silverado Black & Silver 1/2 Ton 4 WD 6.2 Diesel Suburban K1500 with 4 Speed Overdrive Transmission, only 83,000 miles on it! For Parts. The engine is worth at least $2500 and the 4 wheel drive running gear and 4 speed overdrive transmission is worth at least $1500. So would be great for someone that might want to disassemble and use or sell parts off. Believe it needs an injection pump. Could possibly be gotten running again.
Replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, put a new set of injectors on, tested all the glow plugs & bought a new one of those also. Put a different injection pump in it. May need a new or rebuilt injection pump to get it to stay running. Or could be an electrical problem to glow plugs. Use to get 20+ Mpg.
