Vehicle description
1986 Chevrolet El Camino SS built by Choo Choo Customs.
This is a one owner vehicle! It was given to me by my uncle and I always had plans on restoring it but I"ve never gotten around to.
Vehicle runs, drives, and stops as it should. Surprisingly, she gets a lot of attention where ever it goes. In 2015 it was parked due to needing a transmission. In October of 2021 the transmission was replaced with a new 200 R, differential service was performed, oil change, and new battery put in.
This 1986 Chevy El Camino SS is back on the road and ready to enjoy. She does highway speeds with ease and handles well without any overheating.
The interior is all there, but it needs to be replaced. The driver"s door handle is non operational, steering column shifter is broken (see photo), but still shifts into gear with ease. The tires are older and will need to be replaced, small exhaust leak when cold, engine still maintains plenty of power with its new transmission shifting with ease. All lights and gauges are functional. The heater works well but the factory A/C does not work.
Engine is a 4.3 V6 with an automatic transmission RWD.
Clean California car with a clean title. It will be a good reliable vehicle. I am selling it because the interior is too much of a project for me. I would like to sell it to someone who will giver her the facelift she deserves.
