Vehicle description

New work just completed. New front rotors, pads, races, wheel bearings on both sides and a new caliper on the passenger side ($1,000 in work and parts). Runs, drives, brakes and shifts very nicely. Rear brakes are good.
New bra as of 9/21/18. Bra covers some minor front body damage (see photos). I put rust reformer on the spots where the paint had come off, so those black spots are not rust, but rust reformer. I have a source for good replacement pieces if interested.
It has roughly 220,000 miles on the original 1.9 wasserboxer engine. The odometer stopped working at 192,000, so the 220K is my best guess. I do think it is a conservative estimate. Runs well, but does have the typical leaky heads issue.
Included in sale is a set of replacement AMC heads that have German (not AMC) valves. It was leaky when I bought it in 2009 and has not become noticeably worse since I have owned it, but it will need to be addressed eventually. I have driven it on several 2-4-hour highway trips without issue. It currently is not leaking to the point where there is coolant on the ground, you just smell it when exiting after a drive. The body is straight. I was going to do a Subaru engine conversion on this van, but ended up buying a diesel Weekender instead.
I had the body and frame checked out previous to that decision and both are very solid. It has some isolated rust holes around some of the windows (especially the windshield), but in good shape overall. Frame is cancer free. Also comes with new water pump, Ford fuel pump, and a new accelerator cable. It has a tow hitch with 4-pin wiring. I replaced the radiator in 2009 and the master clutch cylinder about a year back. I have put only a few hundred miles on it during the last 6 years or so. Paint is fading, but if kept waxed and with some rubbing compound still looks pretty decent. There is a small tear along one of the seams on the driver"s side seat. See photo.
Tires are decent- multi-ply truck tires.
