Listed for sale is my 1985 Pontiac Fiero SE project car. I haven"t owned the vehicle very long, but feel that it is an excellent candidate for restoration or even a parts car. The engine will run, but is not getting sufficient fuel delivery even though the fuel pump is operating. I checked the compression on the motor and all 4 cylinders are between 140 and 150 PSI so the engine is good and doesn"t seem to smoke, also I checked and there are No codes showing at this time. The transmission seems to work properly, however, the shift linkage is stuck between Neutral and Drive. I was able to get the shifter into reverse a few times and the car did move backwards on it"s own power with no issues but then the shifter would not go into reverse again. This is why I think the shifter or linkage may be the issue. The linkage will not allow us to go into Park, or D1 or D2. I installed a new front right brake caliper, alternator and battery. I feel this is a great project candidate for a V8 or V6 swap. Car is complete except for radio. I"m selling this vehicle "AS IS" with NO Warranty, and the vehicle will need to be towed.
