| “1985 Mercedes 380SL R107 Weekend Driver, Project Car. I drive the car weekends only - decided to mostly keep it stored. The engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. The frame is solid with minor rust. You will get a clear title and bill of sale along with the Hard Top and associated Stand. The car can use some Interior TLC, however most of the normal wear parts have been changed . . Tires, Brakes, Shocks, Plugs, Wires, Canvas Top and Seals . . . etc. I have upgraded the wheels to modified 15" spokes from a Jaguar and upgraded the radio with speakers, but maintained the original wheels/rims that are included with the purchase. The engine has a minor tick that can be heard prior to oil change. The door lock pneumatic and air-conditioning, cruise control systems needs work. Being 35 years old, this car still turns heads. I just have more projects than time available to complete. Vehicle is sold in "AS-IS" Condition.” |
