1985 Mercedes 2 door turbo coupe Automatic- This car was purchased last year around Christmas from a family member in Indiana. The car sat outside for quite some years. Towed it to Ohio and parked it in the garage. It did have some water inside which was cleaned out. The rear passenger floor will need repaired/replaced. This car does run and can move under it"s own power. However, the fuel in the tank is easily 10-14 years old. .replace the fuel/fuel filter and should run amazing!
This car has the 300D Turbo setup in it. Vacuum leak, so turning off car has to be done manually (very easy to do).
The jack points on this car are rusted (common for these cars) Passenger rear floor needs attention, has rusted at the seam where it meets the inside rocker. Has some rust on lower rear quarters Smells musty. . but has been open indoors since last Decemeber.
Replaced items that I"m aware of in some point of its life: Front and Rear Bumpers Front Left and Right Bumpers Battery(This year) Tires, however they are dry rotted but hold air
This car does run, shifts, drives! However, this will need to be towed! ! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP! WILL NOT ARRANGE SHIPPING! If winner wants shipped it must be paid in full, and arranged prior to release.
